Want to know more about Mobile Monetization? Let's go to Madrid

For the first time, Mobile Monetization Summit (MMS) will be held in Madrid, Spain.

Madrid Mobile Summit is the European edition of the MMS, and there's more than a logical reason for doing this edition in the Spanish capital.

The first argument is that Spain has a growing and increasingly big market for mobile and mobile advertising companies. Some of the biggest international and local brands are there, as well as a significant number of affiliates and publishers.

The second and also significant reason is that Madrid is a city with direct flights from most European cities, which makes it easier for attendees to travel with lower expenses.

This summit is perfect for anyone who works with mobile affiliates, mobile marketing and also wants to know more about user acquisition and retention. These are the main reasons why we chose to attend this event (and because we can't possibly be everywhere at the same time, so we decided on the best ones).

Besides attending the Madrid Mobile Summit, there are a few good reasons to go to Madrid as well. Here are the top five:

1. Tapas and beer

You can't go to Madrid and don't do one of the most local things to do: go out for a couple of beers and small plates of finger food. Spanish people call this "ir de Copas" and "comer bocadillos."

2. Don't forget the churros

Churros are the typical sweet Spanish desert. Simple with sugar and cinnamon or better yet, with chocolate, it's good for any time of the day.

3. El Retiro

When it comes to green spaces, Madrid has a lot of them.
El Retiro is one of the most famous ones and located right in the center of the city, so it's worth visiting.

4. Museo Reina Sofía

On the cultural side, if you're a museum kind of a person, Reina Sofía will probably get your attention. From photography to contemporary exhibits, there's something for everyone to see.

5. El Rastro

Lastly, for shopping and souvenirs go to El Rastro on a Sunday. You can find everything there!
It starts at Ribera de Curtidores and goes on to other streets as well, becoming one of the biggest flea markets in the city.
